Academic and personal support
The School of Mathematics, and the University of Bristol as a whole, is a friendly, open and supportive environment.
We encourage students to excel in their studies believing that their success is our success. Each student is assigned a personal tutor who makes himself or herself available to provide day-to-day support, advice and guidance on academic matters. You can always approach the Undergraduate Student Administrators (see sidebar) for any queries or problems you may have.
We also recognise that, due to personal reasons, university life can be stressful at times, especially for young students experiencing extended periods of time away from home for the first time.
